Hey Ms. Parker's Bio

Introducing Me

Where do I begin? I am a mother of four wonderful kids and one grand baby. I've been working with kids and teens for over 30 years.  I have had the opportunity to work with them in the school system, in the community and in the church.  I stand in awe when I see many of the kids now married with children, college graduates, and mover and shakers in their careers, in the community and in their local churches.

In 2006 I started H.E.E.L.S. (Healing Every Emotional Life Scar)  I created workshops and programs for young women to discuss topics related to hindrances and life occurrences that can stunt one's growth from becoming what God has called them to be on the Earth. Today I continue my commitment to women and children with programs, workshops and anything that can impact the lives of the people in a positive way to reinforce the "I can" within them.

Today I am still at it!  I am doing pageants for my girls!  It's amazing to  see the strength and tenacity in our girls.   Today I celebrate the girl who is proud of who she is and where she is heading.

Walking with Confidence

Lessons in walking at H.E.E.L.S. Finishing School.

She Eventually Mastered it!

We had so much fun this day!  The girls had to walk to the chair, turn around, sit down and cross their legs at the ankles.
